Earn your PADI Open Water Diver certification through Bubbles or Not at the Indoor Pool!
ELIGIBILITY
To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.
FITNESS
You need adequate swimming skills and to be in good physical health. For safety reasons, a PADI Medical form questionnaire must be completed prior to the first day of pool session.
ACADEMIC
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases: Knowledge Development (online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving. Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills and Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!
EQUIPMENT
Included with the registration fee is the rental of your basic scuba gear, regulator, buoyancy control device, weights, wetsuit and a tank. You must purchase your own mask, snorkel, fins and booties three weeks prior to your scheduled class. Fit and comfort will greatly increase your enjoyment and performance in the water. The equipment you wear varies, depending upon whether you’re diving in tropical, temperate, or cold water. All equipment can be purchased through Bubbles or Not.
