MWR Star is an initiative to recognize exemplary employees in MWR. People who go above and beyond to assist MWR customers and their co-workers. One individual is chosen monthly to be featured as our star, spotlighting details about themselves and their position within MWR.
Cristina Krause has been working with MWR for one and a half years. She currently holds the position of Office Clerk with the Recreation Division. Cristina was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming. On her off time, she enjoys playing games (video, board, and cards), spending time with her family and finding new places to explore. The things she loves most about her job is getting to meet new people and helping them find the correct answer when they come into the office, especially steering newcomers toward all the amazing resources that Fort Gordon has to offer. From Disney tickets at Aladdin travel, to the cafes on post for a quick bite, she shows them that there is a lot to appreciate about our facilities on post.
When asked if she had any words of wisdom she would like to share, she simply said, “Be kind.” A short phrase that goes a long way!
