MWR Star is an initiative to recognize exemplary employees in MWR. People who go above and beyond to assist MWR customers and their co-workers. One individual is chosen monthly to be featured as our star, spotlighting details about themselves and their position within MWR.
Mr. Rodriguez is from Ponce, Puerto Rico. He is the youngest one of four children and he joined the Armed Forces at the age of 19. He has worked with the MWR for almost 37 years. Mr. Rodriguez got his start in Germany in Wiesbaden; he has also worked in Kaiserslautern.
Mr. Rodriguez is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. He has experience doing just about everything and takes pride in his work. He has been working at Gordon Lanes for about 20 years here at Fort Gordon. Mr. Rodriguez used to love playing basketball but now enjoys just relaxing at home. His motto in life is “be the best you can be; it’s all about the team“. We chose him for the November MWR Star because we saw someone who goes above and beyond the call of duty.
