MWR Star is an initiative to recognize exemplary employees in MWR. People who go above and beyond to assist MWR customers and their co-workers. One individual is chosen monthly to be featured as our star, spotlighting details about themselves and their position within MWR.
April features Mrs. Kaci Wilhoit, storage coordinator for Gordon Storage at Gordon Car Care. She has been with MWR for 4 years. Kaci enjoys hiking with her furbaby, as well as, taking on DIY projects around the house. She loves working at MWR because, “It’s the best of both profit and non-profit work. Most of our facilities, programs and events are not funded by tax-payers and must be self-sustaining in terms of revenue. This gives the opportunity to learn everything I want to know about creating successful and profitable businesses, as well as, the good feels that come from knowing all profits go to providing quality programs and facilities to our military community at little to no cost to them.”
Kaci’s words of wisdom are to “Say “thank you” more often. Odds are no one hears it as much as they should.”
Kaci was chosen as an MWR Star, because she always shows up at work with a smile and a can do attitude. She is always ready to lend a helping hand to get things done.
