Woodworth Library will be celebrating the 85th anniversary of the first book, Mary Poppins, and the 55th anniversary of the Disney movie with special programming/event at the library! Come dressed as your favorite character and enjoy fun activites. See below for the line up of activities.
CHERRY TREE LANE: Origami cherry blossoms made by patrons.
MEASURE UP: Design your own character measuring tape.
CHALK PAINTINGS: Patrons can draw on the sidewalk leading to the library entrance.
POPPINS UMBRELLA: Design/paint your own umbrella.
TEA PARTY: Patrons (and staff) may show up in costume for the Mary Poppins inspired tea party with lemonade, cookies and a bubble machine.
