The NAF Auction is open to all of our Fort Gordon and surrounding Community. Please read the following guidelines for all information pertaining to participation and registration. For more information, please call +1 (706)791-2887.
NAF Auction Guidelines:
- All participants must register as auction participants via the registration form here. Auction registration will close at 4 p.m. on May 3, 2018 and no additional registrants will be taken.
- Auction paddle pickup will be available to registrants on May 4, 2018 from 12 to 3:45 p.m. by reporting to Building 12307 Lane Avenue, Fort Gordon, GA 30905. Alternatively, registrants may obtain their paddles the morning of the auction beginning at 7:30 a.m.
- All Active Duty E1-E4s, (all Branches) with valid Military ID Card will be issued a GREEN auction paddle (Includes Active Duty E1-E4s Reservists with binding orders and identification). Status will be verified at the time the paddle is issued. If registrant registers as an E1-E4, but does not have proof of rank, s/he will be issued an ORANGE paddle and will be permitted to bid with the general public only.
- The auction will be conducted in one pass. A bundle/item will be announced open for bidding by GREEN paddles first using the words, "GREEN paddle participants, the starting bid on bundle/item number ____ is $_____." At that time, only those bidders with GREEN paddles will be considered. If the minimum reserve is not met or there are no GREEN paddle bidders, the auctioneer will announce, "GENERAL Public bidders allowed! The starting bid on bundle/item number ____ is $_____." At that time both GREEN and ORANGE bidders will be considered.
- The auction will begin at 8:30 a.m. on May 5, 2018 and last until all items have been auctioned in one pass.
- All purchased items must be removed from the premises no later than 6 p.m. on May 5, 2018. Requests for exceptions must be coordinated with the Technical Support Services Supervisor prior to 6 p.m. on May 5, 2018. Property left on the premises without prior authorization will be considered abandoned and disposed of accordingly.
- All items are As-Is. All sales are Final/No Refunds.
- Sold items will be marked with the paddle number of the buyer at the time of the sale. If a dispute arises that cannot be amicably resolved at the time between event personnel the parties, the item will be re-auctioned immediately following the last designated item.
- NO "bundled" items will be opened in footprint of the compound. They must be loaded and the bundles opened off-site to ensure traffic flow.
- Businesses/Corporations and like entities are NOT authorized to purchase any items.
- Cash and Non-Business Credit Cards Only.
- Participants agree to hold harmless any event staff member and the DFMWR from damages or liability associated with loading auctioned items.
- All participants agree to the guidelines above by registering for the auction.
